Affordable Housing

"The Housing Authority of Portland is great! It allows me to live in a clean, affordable place close to where I work."

The Affordable Housing team within the Housing Authority of Portland oversees a portfolio of over 3,900 apartment units in 33 properties throughout Multnomah County. For more information about Affordable Housing, please see the individual property profile sheets in our Affordable Housing Portfolio. To apply for admittance to any of the communities listed, please contact the on-site management staff directly.

Please note that the information within this directory is subject to change without notice and exact information should be obtained directly from the on-site management staff. This portfolio will continue to grow and thus newer units may not be included in this directory.

While part of the same organization, these units are separate and distinct from the over 2,400 units of Public Housing also managed by the Housing Authority of Portland. The Affordable Housing team utilizes the industry expertise of third-party fee-managing agents to oversee the day-to-day operations of this portfolio. As such, this portfolio is not subject to most regulations that govern Public Housing. HAP is pleased to be able to add these much-needed units to the stock of affordable housing within Multnomah County. We hope one of the communities listed within our portfolio will meet your individual housing needs.
