Apartments for Rent at
New Columbia: In North Portland's Portsmouth Neighborhood

Phase 1
New Columbia's first renters moved in on May 9, 2005. By January 2006, 175 apartments were rented in the first seven blocks.

Phase 2
Construction of the remaining apartments progressed around the site, following a U-shape around McCoy Park at the center of the new community. 76 of the apartments in Phase 2 are along "Main Street on Trenton," comprising the top two floors above first floor office and retail space. These units opened in May 2006.

 

Summary of HAP Rental Properties
All 556 apartment units, managed by Guardian Real Estate Services for HAP, were completed by October 2006. In total, these represent 297 public housing units, 73 project-based Section 8 units, and another 184 affordable units. The affordable units are available to any family earning at or below 60% of the Area Median Income. For current income guidelines, click here.

 
Trenton Terrace - Independent Seniors
Northwest Housing Alternatives, Inc. developed a buidling specially designed for independent seniors. It is located along Main Street, across from McCoy Park with TriMet #4 Fessenden bus stop at the front door. The 66 apartments at Trenton Terrace opened in late 2006.
