In order to create the opportunity for a truly mixed-income community at New Columbia, the Housing Authority of Portland has sold 232 lots to homebuilders. The first model homes will be open by July 2005 and presale activity is underway.

Of the total 232 homes, at least 30 will be marketed to first time homebuyers at or below 60% of the area median family income.
