The Housing Authority of Portland employs a total of 257 employees. The following managers and their organizations report to Steve Rudman, HAP's Executive Director.
Catherine Such, Deputy Executive Director
Oversees the agency's operations: Public Housing, Rent Assistance, Asset Management, Development and Community Revitalization, and Resident Services.
Todd Salvo, Chief Financial Officer
The Finance and Accounting group oversees the areas of Accounting, Finance, Cash Management, Planning and Budgeting, Financial Analysis and Risk Management.
Brenda Carpenter, Director, Human Resources and Administration
This group oversees Human Resources, Payroll, Purchasing, Information Technology and General Services/Facilities. Human Resources provides services in recruitment, employee relations, labor contract administration, benefits and training.
Shelley Marchesi, Director, Public Affairs
This unit is responsible for Public Affairs, Intergovernmental Relations, Internal Communications, and Media Relations.
